This is the first in a series of puzzles. However, it is designed to get you started thinking in abstract ways. It is a set of five cards, one instruction card and four puzzle cards. I will provide a couple of hints to get you started. If you need further hints, you may email me and I can provide two more hints. You can click on the image to see it full size or download it for printing so you can cut it out to rearrange the cards (which you will need to do if you cannot just visualize rearranging them into the proper sequence).
Here are three hints for you:
1) The solution of each card is a number between 0 and 9.
2) Try to line up the four path cards in a row to get a single connected path.
3) In this puzzle, there is a single number from each card (which you can use logical inference from the words on each card), and the flight path gives you the order of the numbers for the solution.
If you provide me with the numbers (remember: they will each be a number from 0 to 9), I will show you the solution cards in class and you can determine if you solved the puzzle correctly. Given there are four cards, I will tell you upfront, that logically, there should be four numbers in the sequence.
